This CD is enjoyable and it's a Must. I once had it on tape first be4 moving on to CD anyway. The reason why I luv it so much 'cuz it's incredible and it has a variety of special guests on the albums i.e. Diane Schuur, Natalie Cole, the Tempting Temptations, Patti Labelle, Carl Anderson (RIP), Desiree Goyette (one who did the voice talents of the cartoon series as "Nermal" and all of that), Lou Rawls, my big brother Mr. Blues himself, B.B. King, to name a few.
Songs I dug are "Spare Time" by David Benoit (such a good man and a great artist and pianist), a lil bit of "Up On A Fence" which is very bluesy, tasty and sultry inside, "Fat Is Where Is At", such a Bad song and it's more upbeat than it was. The rest are off da chain. You can believe that. I always been a fan to the cartoon character on TV and on the Comics (which I read from this day), That's one of my favorite cartoon characters I adore and agree to add. the late Lorenzo Music (who did the voice of the orange-colored cat) passed in 2001 which is deeply sad and may God rest his soul, he'll live on 4ever. He was a good voice talenter and creator. Enjoy Garfield's AM I COOL OR WHAT?

This is pure 80's R&B,

Tunes inspired by Garfield, this is a fun collection and very stark sampling of what R&B was in the 1980s. Except for a couple songs used in specials, most are less directly about Garfield and more from artists embracing "the Garfield lifestyle". If the musical theme is something you enjoy this is a worthy set.
