I purchased this for my 7-year-old son. He had recently taken several Garfield movies from the library and immediately wanted this game. I was afraid it would be kinda cheesy or too easy, but he really loves it.
There are 10 levels; he's on level 6 as of this date, and he's had the game for 3 weeks. He says the levels are somewhat hard. All I see is Garfield running around trying to jump up on things, attacking Odie (unfortunately Odie attacks first so he can't always avoid the dog), killing spiders, eating and more. I recommend it for a child around my son's age.

You wouldn't think, being a Garfield game, that it would be difficult. The first few levels weren't too bad. Then, I got to about 1/3 of the way through, and the tasks you had to complete were nigh impossible. I tried to get through one level about 25 times, and gave up afterwards. Another disappointment I had, being a big Garfield fan, was the voice for Garfield wasn't very good. I wouldn't have minded Frank Welker or even Bill Murray, who voiced him recently. Should have just kept the voice out. The game might be fun for a few laughs at first, but gets frustrating as you progress. Only worth a rental just to check it out. It's not very much fun. I liked Garfield's Nightmare for Nintendo DS better, as I completed that game. Garfield: Caught In The Act for Sega Genesis was a better game to beat as well. Might be fun for some, if you can complete it, and you don't find some of the tasks too hard.

Bought this for my grandchildren, and we all have fun playing it. There is enough challenge to make it interesting, but not so much that children give up playing. Graphics are cute, voice-overs well done, & situations interesting. Levels progress with lots of laughter from the kids and a few chuckles from the adults. Family time game for kids of all ages.

I bought this for my 6 year old. He has enjoyed it. I think it would probably be a little boring for an adult, but it is a game that he can do with little help from me or his dad.
