Twelve entertaining but extremely hard games star Garfield the cat and his buddy Odie. Jon is fed up with Garfield's lack of interest in catching mice. Garfield sets out to create the ideal cat for Jon, with body parts taken from a selection of 30 lions, tigers and other felines. Clear graphics, several challenge levels, fun games and a sign-in system are some of the program's strong features. In one activity, kids try to hit targets with chickens. In another, they spew hairballs up at falling objects, before getting knocked out. There are mazes, sequencing games, and a fast-paced Whack-a-Rat challenge, in which players try to bang on rats' heads as they pop out of their hiding places. Garfield's humor contains the same cynical tone as that of the cartoon, with a focus on silly stuff like burping and hairballs. The games are very tough, and kids were never sure whether or not they had completed a game. (They seemed to earn animal parts no matter what, however.) This one is for persistent Garfield lovers only.

I've had a blast with this game. The animation is hilarious, Odie really takes some hilarious abuse, and the "disco John" game cracks me up everytime. All the fun and wit Garfield fans are accustomed to.
