5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Game
I bought this for my daughters 10th birthday. It is similar to Mario games. It is a bit challenging but not too hard that she has given up. The only she doesn't like, is if you die you have to go all the way back to the first level to try again. Even if you pass 4 of the 10 levels, and die in level 5, you have to start all the over at level 1. It does not save your...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good game
The game is a lot of fun but the instructions stink. It took me forever to figure out how to get past the first screen because the controls didn't work. It shows you Garfield's view but no menu and it shows you how the envelope is slipped under the door and the instructions tell you to open the envelope but you can't maneuver Garfield over to the envelope... it just lets...

The game is a lot of fun but the instructions stink. It took me forever to figure out how to get past the first screen because the controls didn't work. It shows you Garfield's view but no menu and it shows you how the envelope is slipped under the door and the instructions tell you to open the envelope but you can't maneuver Garfield over to the envelope... it just lets you look around the room. Finally, I figured out that you have to place the stylus directly underneath the envelope and hold it there for several seconds and then the envelope opens. Good grief...couldn't they have told us that?

This isn't a bad game, but it is slightly unrealistic for being a Garfield game. Garfield jumps and runs more then you would think the fat, lasagna loving cat would. I am 22 and I still enjoyed playing this game. I think anyone who enjoys Garfield will enjoy playing this game. It is a little easy to complete, but it is aimed at children. There are not many enemies to defeat and it doesn't really use the touch screen capabilities, but then again, not many games on the DS have yet.
