5.0 out of 5 stars Bravo Peabody!, May 15, 2000
By
Rebecca Lu Kiernan (Lexington, KY, GECKO MAGAZINE) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gargoyle 41 (No.41) (Paperback)
Where does Richard Peabody find these strange and delicious writers? This magazine is exotic, erotic and highly entertaining. Peabody packages high literary content for real (and surreal) people. I read some work aloud to my bat and he started frothing at the mouth. Bravo, Peabody!

GARGOYLE should be required reading for every creative writing class. This work sparkles with literary elegance and discipline, bubbles with sex and boils with blood. BUY IT! You will feel these writers breathing on your neck deep into the night!

5.0 out of 5 stars RICHARD PEABODY INVENTS A GENRE, May 18, 2000
This review is from: Gargoyle 42 (No.42) (Paperback)
GARGOYLE is arousing, disturbing, seductive. Too high brow to be pornography, exciting and shocking. Sci-fi/Gothic/Sex Graphic Literature with a Punchline. Richard Peabody has invented a genre!
