well i'm a fan of the bombs, and i have war birth (of course) and the world, and recently got put strength in the final blow. anyway i did a search on u.s. bombs on amazon.com and was shocked at how it only had one star. of course i checked it out and saw that it was only reviewed once, and god knows how many people bailed out of buying it because of it's rating. GET THIS RECORD, it is excellent. it's got steve reynolds at bass, who's better than wade and it's got some classic tracks they always play live. i've heard all their albums and this is second best behind only war birth, make sure to check out all the bodies, spaghetti, retreads, and monsters. hopefully i've done this great record some justice...

With all the garbage out there, its nice to know that there are a few good bands left. This was the first Bombs album that I bought, and probably one of the best (ranks just behind Warbirth.) Garibaldi Gaurd needs to be heard. If you're hardcore punk, or feel the slightest spirit of '77...get this album!

Great stuff, second only to warbirth, buy it, now

this album is great. I like it better than never mind... one of the first i've heard from them and been fan ever since. if you like this band check out the stitches and the pushers.

I have War Birth and Never Mind the Opened Minds... and they are two of my favorite albums; I like them enought that I special ordered Garibaldi Gaurd, but frankly this album is close to terrible. If I had bought it first I would never have bought another U.S. Bombs album.
