Before I got this book, I didn't know there was such a thing as the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival- now I'd love to get the chance to go sometime!

This book includes garlicky recipies of all different types and of all different levels of difficulty. As a vegetarian, I wished there had been more meatless recipies, but I recognize that it's not the "Vegetarian Garlic Lovers Cookbook". It might not have as many recipies as some other garlic-specific cookbooks, but the recipies are all submitted by participants in the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, so they are all unique. Certainly recommended for garlic lovers everywhere.

Like A. Abruzzese, I too did not know of The Gilroy Garlic Festival. So I just had to buy the book because as my dad has told me, "It's just like being there."

"Kelly's Asian Chicken, People Always Ask For This Recipe Party Dip, Whole Garlic Appetizer, Spicy Garlic Chicken, Bob's Garlic Chicken, Susie Townsend's Ex-Husband's Sesame Broccoli Pasta Salad Significantly Improved, Indonesian Chicken With Green Beans And Garlic, Garlic Chicken A L'Orange" were all winners for my husband and myself.

If you are a "garlic head" you have to get this book!

Keep those garlic recipes coming! Recipes to satisfy the soul and titilate the taste buds! Some may dislike Garlic's flavor, but if you're a lover then this cook book should be a permanent addition to your cooking library.
