This review is from: Garlic Peeler
over 6oo bulbs, 14 different varieties. We use a lot of garlic! We like to pickle it in quart jars, several at a time. It needs to be peeled, but still whole. After watching my husband spend hours sitting in front of the TV peeling garlic, I decide to try this peeler. Actually, I needed a small item to fill in my Cooks order so I could get free shipiing so I picked this. I'm so glad I did! Mine arrived split halfway down the side, but I called Cooks and they gladly replaced it, no problem. Even the split one worked if I used the side that wasn't split. When the new one arrived, I gave it to my husband as a gift. He couldn't believe that it would work, but once he tried it, he was very happy! It does get dirty quickly. The skins stick to it, but it's easy to rinse off. I wish I had another one, because we use so much garlic that I'm always trying to find it. (Why can't kids put things away in the same place twice?) The next time I need to fill out an order for free shipping I will be getting another.

One tip - use cloves that are around the same size. If you have one that's much bigger than the others, do it by itself. The larger one will keep you from making contact with the smaller ones and the skins won't loosen.
