This mounting bracket has all the qualities you are looking for: Lightweight, portable, and adjustable. The bracket is jointed, allowing you to position your GPS out of the sun's glare. Comes with temporary and permanent adhesive disks that adhere the mount base to the dash.

The vehicle mounts for the Etrex is easy to install, compact and allows various adjustments. Seems to be durable.

But it's noisy, even with small vibration of the car due to irregularities on the street. In very uneven roads the noise of vehicle mounts is great.
