Bought a new car, so I needed new dashboard disk to mount my Nuvi. these seemed like a reasonable price for what appeared to be factory OEM disks.

When I received them I cleaned the dashboard with alcohol to make sure the adhesive would stick, removed the cover from the adhesive disk, and pressed it against the dashboard. Would not stick. I tried the other one. No-go. I touched the adhesive with my finger , and there was no adhesion - it did not feel sticky at all.

I contacted the seller for a refund, heard nothing. A week later sent another request for a refund, this time I got a refund.

I purchased one of these disc packs for my Garmin a year ago. I'd read some reviews about them coming un-stuck from the dashboard so I wiped my dash with rubbing alcohol prior to sticking it on. It has been on for a year so far & there is no sign of it letting loose from the dash. The gps mount holds on to it quite well & I'm pleased with the product.

I think that the reason some of them are coming off is that the dash wasn't cleaned with rubbing alcohol before they were stuck down.

I did not try to get a refund, but maybe I should, this was a total waste of money - I ended up having to use super glue to make it stick.

The product is misleading. It was Large round disks and I wanted the small ones. It did not say which ones they were.

The Garmin Adhesive disk is a smooth disk with adhesive backing that attaches to the car dashboard. This is used to attach a portable GPS device. This product is sturdy, adheres well, and gives us flexibility (pkg. of 2) to use the GPS in more than one vehicle.

Used one of these to mount my Tom Tom One in my motorhome. Stuck it on top of the dash in August and it is still there (Nov 24).

This product doesn't work. The adhesive isn't even equivalent to the adhesive on the backs of shotty mailing stamps. Even when I cleaned my dash with alcohol this product didn't work. I'm sure that the suction cup with your GPS suctions perfect with the disk, but the disk simply wont stick to the dash. Weak product. I might Gorilla Glue it instead.

Great way to mount a GPS. Even comes with alcohol soaked pads to clean the surface where you mount these. I used one in my SUV that spans an indention where two surfaces meet (a crease). It holds just fine. Can be used with any windshield mount that has a vacuum cup less that the diameter of the disks (about 2 inches). BE SURE TO LET THE ALCOHOL dry completely before sticking the disk to the dash. You may even want to dab it with a lint-free cloth to make sure it's dry. They won't stick on wet surfaces.

I use a Garmin GPS unit in my car. The Garmin dashboard disk was the perfect solution to mounting the unit to where I can see it easily while driving. I was pleased to see how easy it was to install and how well it holds the GPS mount in place. I have not yet tried to peel off the disk to see if it did any significant damage to the dashboard covering. I keep cars a long time so that isn't really a problem for me. I do suggest that you find a nice magnetic knicknack to set on the disk when you leave the car parked. Even though you probably take the GPS with you, the knicknack dould possible disguise the fact that you use a GPS and reduce the possibility of someone breaking into the car.

This disk works great. Once its put on it will not move and surface keeps GPS in place
