5.0 out of 5 stars Garmin Auto Suction Cup Mount for Zumo.
I bought a Garmin Zumo 450 for my motorcycle and wanted to use it in my car also. Bought this suction cup mount to use in my car. It works great and is very easy to mount and dismount from the windshield. The built-in speaker volume is better than I expected. Good product. You will also need to buy a cigarette lighter adapter to power it in your car.

3.0 out of 5 stars Suction Cup Mount for GPS
Can't mate the mount properly to my Zumo 450. I get no sound, even plugged in. I believed the connection would do that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta Have It, October 14, 2007

If you don't have this "auto mount" for your motorcycle inclined Zumo 450/550 then you "gotta have it". This lets you very easily swap that Zumo between your bike and your car. Unlike other GPS "suction cup" mounts, this one "works". Garmin definitely did their homework on this mount and came up with a "no fail" suction device. It "holds" until you release it. I use my Zumo on every bike ride, however, it is in my car on every "road trip". My Zumo never lets me down. I don't even bother to bring an atlas or maps any more. Zumo "Jill" is all I need. Yea, get this mount.

4.0 out of 5 stars Garmin Automotive Suction Cup Mount for Rino Series, August 13, 2007
This review is from: Garmin Automotive Suction Cup Mount for Rino Series GPS (010-10860-00) (Accessory)
The Garmin automotive suction cup mount for Rino Series is a solidly built unit that is suitable for most family vehicle adaptations. The arm is adjustable and can be snapped out of its mount however; it takes a lot of force to put it back together. On a recent trip over extremely rough stone logging roads in a school bus, the mount held fast to the window but the vibration effected the playing of mp3 songs being played through a Zomo 450. I can't say for sure if the mount or Zomo was the problem but the road provided an extreme vibration test. Because a school bus has vertical windows, the Garmin mount did not offer the same adjustment range for optimal viewing of the GIS unit. The mount also has a phone jack so that you can play your mp3 files through a cars cassette player (cassette adapter not included). Overall, I am very pleased with the mounts construction and ability to stay where you put it. Because some states do not allow window-mounted gps's, Garmin has included a sticky back pad for attaching the mount on the dash or other smooth interior car surface.

I had to get this so I could mount my Zumi in my car. It is a shame that Garmin could not just create a suction cup to attach to the motorcycle mount. But that would not earn them the money that selling an entirely new mount and power cable does (the power cable from the motorcycle mount does not fit the car mount). The complaining aside, the mount is of good quality and easily attaches to the windshield. And it stays. The mount does supply the built-in speaker that the Zumi lacks. However, the speaker is small and does not provide the best of sound. It is adequate for the spoken GPS directions but is not of much use for the MP3 player. If you are going to use the MP3 player in your car you are better using one of the FM transmitters and playing it thru your car radio. 4 stars due to the weak speaker.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is for my ZUMO, not Rino, December 31, 2011
This review is from: Garmin Automotive Suction Cup Mount for Rino Series GPS (010-10860-00) (Accessory)
I think something is amiss. Anyway, this is for my ZUMO 550 Motorcycle GPS when using it in the car. My mount was stolen, but fortunately the GPS was not in the car at the time. I really don't know what the thief wanted with a Zumo cradle, but most likey he was not the smartest guy in the world. He also took my iPod and CB, which have been replaced. Just glad that the most expensive item was not around, or that would have really sucked!

Also, I took the suction cup off, and put it onto one of those bean bag dash mounts... personal preference....

I purchased this Garmin Auto Mount for my Zumo-450 motorcycle gps when using it in the car. It works great unless the windshield is dirty in which case it will release and fall crashing to the floor. Luckily the Zumo is built to withstand such abuse and serves as a reminder to clean the windshield occasionally. The speaker is a bit tinny sounding but allows that obnoxious lady to be heard well enough every time she recalculates.

I have purchased three of these units -- and they all have broken -- either no sound, lose power connection, etc ... really liked them when they worked -- now have an expensive GPS unit -- and no mounting option in car
