It's a standard Garmin base and it fits my 305 perfectly. I didn't have any of the problems with the fit that some others mentioned in their reviews.

Used to replace a failing/half-working original cradle from my Garmin Forerunner 305. This new one fits perfect (no fitment issues that other reviewers had) and works just fine. No more intermittent charging and twiddling the unit on the cradle to get it to download or charge right.

Exactly as described, works perfectly.
The only thing I dislike about my Garmin 205 is the proprietary aspect of charging it, since I needed a cradle, and couldn't just hook it via USB directly to the device. Read more

Garmin Charging Cradle
This doesn't work very well. The Forerunner 305 doesn't fit well on the cradle and requires me to put something on top of the Forerunner to get the watch to charge. Read more
