Stays put, even around sharp curves.,

This review is from: Garmin Dashboard Bean Bag Mount for StreetPilot (Electronics)
I love our Street Pilot, but hated the sticky mounting device that came with it. This sand bag mount was the perfect solution. It stays put wherever you set it, and doesn't slide when making sharp turns. It also allows you to quickly reposition the Street Pilot for other drivers (or to stash it under a seat). Best of all it doesn't leave any sticky residue on my dashboard the way the other mount did.

It really works!,

I had my doubts about a bean bag holding my Streetpilot in place. It really works. It makes it very conveniant to move the streetpilot from vehicle to vehicle. The only down side is that you have to remove the mount assemply from the streetpilot to use it with the bean bag. This is not a problem, but could be inconveniant if you plan on using both the bean bag and the plastic mount.

It's good depending on the dash you have,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Garmin Dashboard Bean Bag Mount for StreetPilot (Electronics)
I bought this for my GPS III+. It works great in my Jeep Wrangler because the dash has a small holder in the middle. On road (less bumpy) trips I wedge it between the dash and the windshield. That works really well because the windshield is up close. Our other vehicle is a Grand Cherokee. The dash is so big that the bean bag mount can't lean up to anything close enough to read clearly. I know the bag was designed for the StreetPilot, but it works good for the III+ too. It's cheaper and more versatile than the plastic mount. It also has a good sticky rubber base that hasn't slid yet.
