This little bracket holds the GPS receiver securely and lets you adjust the viewing angle. That's a big help when the sun is shining right on the screen and obliterating your map. You can hardmount this bracket or use Velcro to attach it to the dashboard. If you don't want anything permanently affixed to your car get the Garmin beanbag mount, too. The receiver goes in the bracket, the bracket sits on the beanbag (with Velcro), and the beanbag sits on the dashboard. Works great.
