Since my new car did not come with NAV, I purchased the new Garmin - which I really like. After realizing that there may be times when I wanted to remove the Garmin, I ordered this case. It is nice and definitely worth the price paid. I am not sure what the straps on the inside are for or what else you would store in the case.
