The GPSMAP 168i Sounder is a combination GPS receiver and chart plotter with a boatload of features. The unit boasts a differential-ready, 12-parallel-channel GPS receiver, tide prediction tables, and an internal antenna. The chart plotter includes a 150-watt depthfinder so catching fish is a breeze.
Distinguishing fish returns is made easier by the prominent four-level gray FSTN LCD display, measuring 5 by 6 inches with 240 x 240 pixel capacity, and Garmin's exclusive See-Thru technology. The display is populated with useful features: auto bottom tracking, auto ranging, 2x and 4x zoom levels, split screen feature, and three-level fish ID.
The GPSMAP 168i Sounder features a built-in worldwide basemap and 2.5 MB memory that can accept uploaded map data from Garmin's MapSource line of CD-ROMs, including Fishing Hot Spots.
The GPSMAP 168i Sounder package includes a power/data cable, surface/flush mount bracket with knobs, transom mount transducer, user's manual, and quick reference guide. It is backed with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
