When our Garmin 755 stopped working I had a friend with the same product test the cords and connections by changing out the two pin connectors until he figured out the pins that needed replaced. I thought it was the cord but it turned out to be the mount base. This product works great for my replacement. I also found a mini metal suitcase in the medical isle of my local store to protect this unit from future storage in the car. I have had many tell me they had the same trouble with this Garmin mount.

This mount works perfect. I can't tell it from the orginal Garmin cradle except it was less than half the price of a replacement from Garmin.

Cannot do my job without the Garmin so when the cradle mount failed, i was sunk. It's fine but was disappointed with the "expedited" shipping and thought that was a ripoff.

The weight of the connector caused my connection socket to break, and the cradle is unusable now. I have to buy a new cradle since I'm stuck with the unit.

This is certainly a flawed design - wouldn't recommend it if you have a choice.

The design of the Nuvi's that use this mount is flawed. The plug that goes into it weighs heavily on the mount and caused it to break, which is why we had to purchase a new mount to replace the original. I prefer the Nuvi GPS's that have a power cord that goes directly into the Garmin. Yet another way to nickle and dime customers.

Along with others, I agree this is a "flawed design". I bought a new one, opened it up, and epoxied it in place. Easy fix for those who don't want to keep replacing it! Ya gotta have it for the Nuvi to operate.

My Garmin Nuvi 765 suddenly stopped receiving power from the cord plugged into cigarette lighter even though the power cord light was lit. After 10 seconds explaining this to Garmin they knew immediately this was the part I needed. I suspect there's a few more out there that have failed. I ordered the part on Thursday and it arrived Saturday morning with no express shipping. Very impressive response by the vendor!

This product is the weak point of the gps system. The plug has way too many small non repairable connections. All the small wires in the plug are not neccessary because no pinout is given for their use and they break frequently. Also, I don't see any cables listed to do anything to give reason for all the connections except the traffic cable. I don't believe that cable requires that many wires. Unit would be justified if Garmiin would release the use for all connections so they can be used by the consumer.

This is my first order from Amazon, this product worked fine with my Garmin Nuvi GPS. I am quite happy with the product. I will refer friends and family to this customer.

Nothing to complain!

My GPS cradle was broken for a while, I wasn't able to use the live traffic feature
because the antenna is embedded to the charger, but the charger can only connect to the
cradle. I didnt want to buy a new GPS, found this replacement cradle and it works.
So now I'm happy with my GPS again.
