I got the cable at a good price. It shipped quickly and arrived in good condition.

what can I say here, the cable fits, works properly and is reasonably priced. it is heavy duty and not prone to much wear and tear due to design. it should function for many years and flawlessly transfer data between PC and GPSMAP76.

Allowed me to update the firmware on my GPS without breaking the bank. Cables tend to either work or not, and this one worked.

Worked well with no problems in uploading and downloading data between my laptop with XP Pro and a Garmin GPSmap76.

Had to use a USB converter but no issues, now can see all of my rides, get lots of data and catalog every event.

Used this for a backpackable APRS system with a Garmin 60 Csx, Yaesu FT250 and a OpenTrack+ . . .perfect!

A very handy piece of work suited to its purpose and, it works. What else is there to say.

I suppose I shouldn't rate this item so low because after all, I should've known that serial ports are just plain slow. But when I hooked this up to my Garmin 60CS GPS with the broken USB port, it told me that it would take 3 hours to upload a map set. This is not good enough when I was used to being able to do it in a few minutes via the USB port. Seems crazy too because the serial port is supposed to support up to 115 baud, but I could only get mine to do 9. Not sure what is wrong, but it didn't work for me so far. I think I just need a new GPS with a working USB port.
