5.0 out of 5 stars Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, January 13, 2008
By Danielle Fish (Syracuse Ny) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Im going to have to completely disagree with the previous reviewer, Ive owned and actually worn 3 pairs of this shoe and I love it. Yes the green is more of a lime than a fern and the trim is taupe, but the picture is not that far off. If you dont like bright colored shoes, avoid these. I like green and find this to be a unique and fun trail shoe. Additionally they are light and breathable, the insole is great, it has better arch support than your average sneaker and actually cups the heel rather than a flap of sponge. Ive had a pair completely submerged in water and they held up fine, I work outdoors during the summer and these are perfect for that. They are good for the streets or the trails. I wouldnt be afraid to put some serious mileage on a pair, or run in them. Under 25$ is an amazing price for this shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Walked all over Amsterdam in these shoes!, January 28, 2008
I bought these shoes on a lark -- the price was right, and I'd had success with a similar brand. I took them to Amsterdam with me without breaking them in first. That's right: 4 days of walking all over cobblestone streets in new shoes. They were fabulous. Not only comfy, but kept my feet warm & dry -- and that's saying something considering the constant drizzle/gentle rain/gullywashers in 40 degree F temps.

Good stuff, great price.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kind of stiff, November 22, 2008
By Marmalade (Silver Spring MD) - See all my reviews
After trying these around the house, I decided to return them. They seemed quite stiff, with a narrow heel, and not much flexibility. Color was ok though, don't be scared about that!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfy shoes!!
I love these shoes. The photo does not show the true colors - more like a yellow-chartreuse green with very light brown trim, but I like the color combo. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars not loving the feel
The green doesn't bother me at all, but I'm all for fun color shoes. The fit does bother me. They bother the balls of my feet a little and there is no support at the arch for my... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks aren't everything...
Very light, supportive hiking shoes with a lot of room in the toe. Usually wear an 8.5-9M, bought these in a 9, comfortable (with medium-thick socks) right out of the box. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars good price
Well, I haven't had the shoes long, so I don't know how they will break in, but they certainly aren't too comfortable from the get go, as modern day hiking shoes usually are. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great shoe at a great price
The shoe is very comfortable and I love the color. It took me three tries to get the right size, I would recommend buying at least a half size down.
