I have naturally straight hair, so I've never had to worry about tangles much, but with this conditioner no matter how much I used, after every use I would have to spend 30 minutes painfully detangling my hair. It also left a very waxy coat on my hair that left my hair looking weighed down and unwashed. It almost ruined my hair brush, leaving this nasty wax coat on all of the bristles, every time I would brush my hair it would appear greasy after. Thankfully within a few days of using a different shampoo & conditioner it wore off. The smell of this stuff is okay at first, but within 2 or 3 hours it starts smelling gross. My boyfriend even mentioned to me that my hair smelled "weird".
I honestly never thought using a "biodegradable" shampoo & conditioner made that big of an impact on the environment, maybe I'm wrong, but this conditioner still sucks.
Do not buy this line of products and do not be roped into the environmentally friendly bit like I was, there are plenty of environmentally responsible shampoos/conditioners out there that work just fine, this however is awful and I don't know how it even got on the market. Did they even freaking test this stuff before putting it out there?! I don't think so!! I want my money back Garnier, these products suck.
I can see how this might be a bad product for normal haired people, but for me, this product is perfect. Definitely recommend if you have dry hair.
P.S. If you want to read my whole story about how this stuff doesn't even work at all and the commercial totally, totally lied, look up the Garnier Fructis biodegratable shampoo and look for Christina M. Bogdan T. Bogdan.
