It's now day 4 since I applied it and I've washed my hair 3 times.

This product is terrible and the only reason it even has 1 star is so that I could write the review to warn others.
S. Fredericks
In the end, my hair was severely damaged, brittle, dry and falling out in chunks.

I wish I read reviews b/f I used this product.... It is completely awful and damaged my hair beyond repair. It is so damaged and fried that it won't even dry. I am left with an entire head of clumps of hair that look like fried wet cotton balls. I have cut as much as I can off it however, it is damaged less from a 1/4 inch from the roots and downward.
If that wasn't bad enough, it stripped my blonde hair and I have streaks of copper and orange from a color change.
I bet pure BLEACH and Gasoline would have done less damage than this did to my hair.

AWFUL!

NEGATIVE 58 STARS!!!!

Please do youself and your hair a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I have no idea where these people came from that gave such great reviews, but my experience was horrible and so was my daughter's, as well as 2 other friends who tried this product. OMG my hair is RAVAGED! The texture is awful, it is extrememly dry, it is not sleek ad smooth at all. It looks and feels like crap. Drying time is not reduced and you still have to use your normal products that you use when you straighten your hair and you still have to use a straightening iron. This product is a complete waste of money and an utter failure.

I used the product as instructed. Washed, but didn't condition my hair and then applied the "20 Minute Serum." The serum stinks!! It smells just like a perm or relaxer, only stronger! I rinsed it out after 20 minutes without shampooing or conditioning as instructed. My hair felt totally damaged at this point. As soon as I rinsed the serum I could tell an absolute and total change in the texture of my hair and it was not good at all! It was almost impossible to comb out, so I added in some of the 2nd step cream hoping it would make a difference and make it easier to comb out. It did. At first I thought "Ah, that's much better" because it did actually make a difference - my hair felt much better and I could comb through it now. My hair also smelled much better after applying the 2nd step cream, thank goodness! Well, as soon as I started blow drying my hair I could tell the damage was still totally present.

I had so much broken hair and hair falling out it wasn't even funny. I was really really p*ssed off. My hair is long - almost to my butt, wavy and very healthy.

This past weekend I was sick. Really sick. Like head-on-the-bathroom-tiles, wish-I-was-dead-because-dead-people-can't-puke sick. So Monday morning, when I finally felt better enough to not cry at the concept of eating a water cracker, I decided to perk myself up and beautify.

Luckily (although later it would turn out to be UNLUCKILY, like cursed-for-100 years-after-breaking-77-mirrors-and-crossing-paths-with-1,000-black-cats-while-walking-under-endless-ladders unluckily), I had purchased a product that promised a "perfect blow dry." The vials of "Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Blow Dry Perfector" were sitting on my shelf.

I wish I had left them there. Instead, I put on the plastic gloves, which really should have been the first red flag -- what kind of hair sleek-ening product promises such silky softness and sensual smoothness that it requires you to protect your hands from it? Did I take the hint and run the other way like I should have?

No.

Blame the virus I just battled, or maybe blame the fact that I've been programmed to accept and submit to preposterous products and processes in the name of "beauty." A stranger seeing my butthole before ripping out its innocent protective hairs? Yeah, sounds okay. Strapping talons to my feet? No prob! I even have friends who wear suffocating Spanx every day "because I feel more, well, me!" What?!

So I read the instructions, which include a disclaimer along the lines of "it's natural for this product to have an odor." I highlight my hair (another concession to beauty at the price of health and sanity -- put a zillion chemicals near my brain? Okay!) and I figured I'm used to the smell of hair products. No prob, I thought.

I bought this product and was really anxious to see the results. I have curly hair and I blow dry my hair straight all the time. Unfortunately, this product was nothing what I expected. After rinsing it off, it was almost impossible to brush my hair and it really seemed damaged. I was not too worried because I thought that the step 2 crème will make it better. Well, it didn't. I have to say hair is really straight, even without using iron, but it does appear damaged. Just to be clear, my hair did not look damaged or dry before using this product. I am not sure if the overall effect is really worth it.

I already posted a review but had to come back to share more bad news about it. I tried to wash this product off and my hair was still in horrible shape. I bought an expensive conditioner and still no help, after crying and not going to work I made the drastic decision of cutting it all off so I can restart with a healthy head of hair. I feel like suing the manufacturer of this company. This product needs to be taken off the shelves.
