Color Name: 93 Light Golden Blonde Honey Butter
After many years of using Miss Clairol, Nice & Easy, and L'Oreal permanent hair dye in mainly neutral blonde shades that I usually had to mix up myself by combining two different shades, I wanted a light shade of blonde that was golden, not ash or neutral. There are not many light golden blonde shades out there. When Garnier came out with new blonde shades I bought their product. OMG, I will never use anything else again. Not only is the shade exactly what I wanted but the product adds avocado oil to the mix and it's very kind to your hair. Two added bonuses: there is no eye-watering smell to this stuff and in the course of leaving the dye on your head for 25 minutes your blonde hair does not turn an alarming shade of brown due to oxidation. It's something I got used to but not having it happen is a plus. I'm very happy with this product.

Color Name: 60 Light Natural Brown Acorn
I have colored my hair for 20 years now. I have paid as much as $250 for salon color - and yes, if you get highlights and lowlights and spend hours in the chair that is the best way to go. But my white roots show after less than two weeks, and I can not afford to go back to the salon even every month for that type of service. I have tried every box color and like several, but this is the shiniest end result, the best at covering stubborn grays, and the most natural-looking color ON ME. I have a lot of red in my hair so I use "Natural" light brown as opposed to "Golden" which makes my hair red or "Ash" which can give me greenish hues. You will have to strand test to see what is best for you, but IF YOU ARE GRAY, NATURAL IS USUALLY THE WAY TO GO. I have a number of friends who have stopped going to the salon and started using this color and are all very happy with their results. The financial savings is incredible. When you touch up, just do the roots - leave the ends alone. Pull color through in strands every few months to freshen. Your hair will stay healthier that way.

Color Name: 452 Dark Reddish Brown Chocolate Cherry
I had never dyed my hair before, professionally or at home, and wanted to try it. I have naturally medium, ash brown, thick wavy hair.

In choosing a hair dye, I wanted my hair color to be:
- Dark brown with reddish highlights
- Easy to apply
- No drip so I didn't ruin any clothing or towels
- Less than 30 minutes to set

This creme forumla is incredibly easy to apply to your dry hair. I watched the application instruction video online [...] and it took me 4 minutes to work the product in. This turned my hair a dark, rich brown that's an awesome red color in the sunlight.

Two bonus features -
- The conditioner included is amazing. If they sold it regularly, I would use it exclusively.
- 4 weeks later, the oolor has faded a bit. My hair is not longer red in the light, but it is a pretty dark, chocolatey brown. I've gotten more compliments on the color after it faded than when I first dyed it, which is a good sign.
The one downside is that the creme still gets on your skin and clothing a little bit. Also, the gloves were baggy and difficult to

Color Name: 90 Light Natural Blonde Macadamia
I've experimented with a lot of different boxed blondes, and this has to be my favorite natural light blonde. My hair is a medium ash blonde naturally; however, if I try to lighten it with ash blonde color, it always turns out grey. Whenever I buy anything with the word 'golden' in it, my hair looks bright orange. This is SUCH a gorgeous blonde color. It turned out the way my hair used to when I was able to afford to go to the salon! My hair is shiny and and the color has yet to fade (I dyed it maybe 2 weeks ago). All in all, this is going to be my holy grail color. I absolutely love it. A++++

Color Name: 50 Medium Natural Brown Truffle
I wanted to keep my natural hair color and cover up the gray hairs that seemed to be multiplying by the day! To be honest, I was cpmpletely overwhelmed by the number of shades to choose from. I was concerned that the color would be too light or too dark and look like I changed my look. I have dark brown hair with fair to medium skin tone so I choose Dark brown Truffle #50. I am completely satisfied with the results!! My husband did not even know I colored my hair!
I must have read over 100 reviews before using the product and I was happy to see that most of the reviews were good-excellent. The smell is not offensive and the kit is super easy to use. My advice is to "Go for it!!!!"

Color Name: 535 Medium Golden Mahogany Brown Chocolate Caramel Verified Purchase
The color is exactly what it shows on the box and it is a great color. It is not too intense and it lasts for a very long time. I often go to the hair salon but when I am on a budget this is my go to box color. You cannot even tell that it is a box color because it is that good.

Color Name: 40 Dark Brown Dark Chocolate
I have been coloring my hair at a high-end salon for years, but in an attempt to cut back on my overall expenses I decided to give home color a try. One week out from coloring my hair with Garnier Nutrisse (Dark Brown # 40), I'd say my hair is healthy and shiny just like the salon. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5, because the color is a full shade darker than what was portrayed on the box. I strongly suggest going a shade lighter than your desired result. I will definitely do that next time.

I also recommend using YouTube how-to videos to learn how to color your hair properly. The big reason why people pay so much at the salon is so that each and every hair on your head is covered. The videos I watched on YouTube taught me how to tie up my hair into sections to get the most thorough covering of all of my hair. I have 70% white roots (and I'm only 39!), so getting every strand is important to me.

So in summary, I am not thrilled with how dark my hair is but I feel satisfied with Garnier Nutrisse.
