The metal detector includes a padded collar that cups your upper arm and steadies the search coils at the bottom of the device. The control panel, located conveniently above the cushioned handgrip, includes knobs for tuning the device's discrimination, depth, ground balance, and audio volume settings, plus a headphone jack and a retune button.
