The book was spoiled by spelling and grammatical errors throughout. It was more a "basic primer" than an original work. She gets praise for her ability to sell herself and her idea but the idea isn't original and from the quality and content of this book---I have to question how much of an "expert" she really is. The book was expensive, of poor quality, and in the end--not worth the money. I could not ever recommend it to anyone and I will never buy another one of her books.

While I'm not a seasoned veteran in the financial planning field, this book was an excellent help for me to increase my knowledge base, learn new techniques and gave me a new perspective on things. Additionally, I feel that the fact that this book is a proponent of catering to the 'middle market' provides a much more realistic and sustainable career trajectory than the seemingly endless number of books and planner that advise only catering to the rich.

No matter what your target audience, this book is a must. It offers substantial tips that will help you customize your practice to fit your needs and lifestyle rather than the old fashioned cookie-cutter model than many planners use. It never hurts to gain new perspective and it's just one more tool in your toolbox.

I quite disagree with the other reviewer. I am a recently certified (CFP®) hourly fee planner trying to get my new business underway. I find the "nuts and bolts" approach to be very helpful, with lots of very practical information and I expect to use this book as a major resource.
