Join a desperate escape from a deteriorating planet,
By Michael Murphy "Michael" (Arizona) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Garrison: Lockdown (Paperback)
Vijaya Schartz has written another fast-paced, character driven, action novel that places the reader on a deteriorating moon-size mining planet that houses an underground high security prison. In a desperate race against time, Rhonda Alendresis and Captain Cole Riggeur must elude despicable unhuman criminals and find a route to the surface, and a way off the planet. During this desperate quest they discover feelings for each other than neither could have imagined.
Readers who enjoy good fiction with their sci fi, will enjoy this novel.

Undiscovered Gem,
By Karmela Johnson (Fairfax, VA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Garrison: Lockdown (Paperback)
Sometimes, you read something that's so far away from the NYT Bestseller list and say to yourself, "Why ISN'T this book on the list???" :::scratches head::: Simply put, Vijaya Schartz's THE GARRISON: LOCKDOWN is sublime. If you like action, sci-fi, and best of all, steamy, character-charged romance, this book is for you. There are no annoying heroes and stupid, wimpy heroines in this book. As a matter of fact, it's SHE who saves the day. The writing is exciting, concise and fast-paced, the plot action-packed, and the characters awesomely crafted.
