Great Item for anyone with a keychain or no keychain,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Garrity LED Key Chain Lite (Sports)
I got one for my birthday and it is perfect. Small but a very illuminating light. It is great item for any one with or without a key chain. Perfect for when you get home late or have something to do outside late at night. The power of a Flash lignt but the size of a key. Great Item come out with a more powerful one but smaller. Great addition to anyones car, keychain, pocket, or backpack. Thanks Garrity for this great light.

The perfect keychain light, another great product by Garrity. For other uses, get a different light.,

I would almost agree that this light should feature a steady-on mode where you don't have to hold down the button, but since it goes on a keychain I have no doubt the battery would be dead in no time if that was the case. There are several kinds of tiny, single LED flashlights that feature steady-on and flash mode, but that doesn't deminish the fact that this is a perfect keychain light.
I have a lot of lights for everything from camping to cycling in the dark, and several are LED lamps. I haven't used an LED light yet that didn't do the job, and where the batteries didn't last at least a couple of years with regular use. It's bright, the light is absolutely white and since it's on your keychain it will always be with you for that unforseen eventuality such as getting trapped in an elevator or blackout. If you have to walk home along a road and simply need to be seen by approaching cars, give them a few flashes with this thing and you will no doubt be noticed instead of roadkill. And of course it does the trick for finding which key goes in which hole when returning home in the dark, as well as finding those chopsticks that fell behind the stove. Everything Garrity makes is durable and reliable, so it was a no brainer as to which brand of keychain light I would buy when I went shopping for one. BOTTOM LINE: Not only is this light effective and practical, but it's nicely designed in five attractive colors. It's not only good for the adult who might need it from time to time, but I believe kids would enjoy having it too.

Decent for its price,

This is an ok light to put on your keychain. Good for lighting up a keyhole at night. It does have one big flaw in my opinion. The switch is a momentary on only type. When you push it the light goes on, when you let go it goes out. I guess this will keep it from turning on (and staying on) in your pocket and killing the battery. It makes the light considerably less useful though. Forget about doing anything that requires two hands while using the light it will just turn off. For a small keychain light, one of the Photon products would be a better alternative. For the price though this is a decent product.

This thing is both durable and powerful. It is about the size of a stick of gum, so it is small enough to put on your keychain. It also produces a surprising amount of light: about as much as a regular 2-battery flashlight. I keep one on my keychain at all times, and it is quite useful both in emergencies and at work.
It has gone to work with me daily in my pocket for about a year, and it is still going strong, and I have not had a single problem with it. The battery is two CR2016. The light is an LED, so it uses very little battery juice, and the lithium battery is very powerful. So, I find it unlikely that I will wear out the battery and need to replace it. This is a good thing, since the replacement cells cost more than the flashlight itself. It is held together with 4 small machine screws, so you certainly can replace the batteries. My only complaint is that it is painted plastic. So, the paint has started to peel off to reveal plain plastic underneath. No matter: it is usually in my pocket out of sight anyway. Also, the only way to turn it on is to press the button; the second you let it go, the light goes off: a great safeguard against accidental turn-on in your pocket. Highly recommended. Postscript. This thing has finally given up the ghost. The on/off switch is a molded piece of metal that has fatigued. Now, I have to press rather hard on the switch to turn it on. The battery has now become weak, and has changed into an ugly brownish-greenish color; yuck. Considering the cost of only a few dollars, the really bright, useful light, small size attached to my keychain, and hard usage for almost 2 years, this modest light gets my highest recommendation.

So much security for so little,

Very bright little white LED, extremely light and flat, totally reliable these 4 months. I carry mine on a keyring with an Outdoor Life Cliffhanger knife. You can imagine how handy this setup could be on the way to the car at night, or taking out the garbage, or whatever. Bad guys hate the light almost as much as the knife. And unlike Mag-Lite style flashlights, you'll never notice this one in your pocket until you need it. If you don't already have a light on your person at all times-- WHY? Now you have no excuse. Get a bunch of these.
If it were water-resistant and a little tougher, like the Pelican L1, I'd give it 5 stars. But it has held up to 4 months of constant carry, and at 1/4 the price, I'm not complaining.

The lamp fell off from the key chain when I opened it from the box. Sure the LED works, but without the key chain, it does not serve my purpose.

GREAT LITTLE FLASHLIGHT,

These are great little flashlights! When I use one in company, someone wants one, so I keep a few spares at home so that I can just give them away. Tiny and slender, perfect for pocket or purse. Excellent to take on trips, good to keep on night table in a strange room, nearly weightless. Surprisingly bright for such a tiny thing. I don't use mine frequently, but I've had some of them for several years and I haven't had one go dead on me yet. They make great party favors, too. I bought mine at a local drugstore.
