Mystery! Intrigue! Romance! Excellent plot!

Texas cattle rancher, Fargo Tanner is sent by his father to find his brother, Jude. [Turns out Jude was a spoiled brat]
Jude was reported as killed by the bounty hunter, "Hawk" - Fargo means to hunt him down and kill him.

Six years ago, fourteen year old Sara Carter witnessed the raped and murder of her mother and sister, Joan - she reacted fast enough to save her sister, Megan by shooting two of the scumbags and driving off a third one. She vowed to get the man responsible for her family's murders, her father and two brothers.

Fargo finds out that the "Hawk" had a great Dane with him who turned out to resemble Sara Carter's dog. She had to know the Hawk or at least was protecting him. He was bound and determined to find out what she knew.

Even though Sara had decided not to marry, she wanted to know the ways of a man and a woman and decided to seduce Fargo.

Sara ended up having to save Fargo from the Indians, who wanted to kill him. Of course she had to promise them that Fargo would fight Ocha to the death.

The plot keeps building, Hawk is too wiley to get caught, Fargo is angry and frustrated in trying to trap Hawk and not getting any where.
Megan seems to know something but also avoids talking about Hawk. But she flirts and talks to Fargo.

Then Sara and Megan find out that they are related to the Indians. Very strange!

Most excellent story - great characters - great dialogue - great resolution for Sara's friend Rose.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED --M - This should be a keeper.
