"When our last child graduated from high school, we hit the road. We were both in our 50s...David had been building a trailer on an old frame. Our little house on wheels. Beginning in our earlier years, we'd camped in northern Michigan in summer - getting the feel of living out of doors most of the time. It became a lifestyle. We wanted more of it. What began as a yearly honeymoon became a way of life for us."
