The threesome known as The Hard Lessons exemplify what is still good, pure, and fun about rock and roll. Hailing from the Detroit area only adds to their overall appeal, and they are maintaining the Motor City's musical lineage.

They are tight musically, both in the studio and live. While their studio work provides a good example of what they strive to put forth, it is in fact their live performances that continually win over audiences. It is rare to find a group that is so down to earth and yet not naive about their place in the musical world.

If you're looking for top notch music, look no further than The Hard Lessons!

The Hard Lessons are the greatest band out of Detroit since the White Stripes, bar none. This album perfectly exemplifies the band, but if you want the full experience you must see them live. As good as they are on record, they are that much better live at one of many numerous Detroit area clubs and bars.

you really want to buy this album. and you really really want to seem them live every chance you get. my god, these kids are the embodiment of rock and roll!

I saw Motion City Soundtrack here in STL and The Hard Lessons opened for them. They were AMAZING! I'm sure their CD is great, but they were even better live. God, can that girl rock! This CD is awesome. I especially love "Feel Alright" and "That Other Girl". This CD is worth every penny!

This is one of the greatest bands out right now. Their albums are awesome, but the live performances are AMAZING!!! I LOVE The Hard Lessons!!!
