Robert Harrison Dresing (Marblemouth) is so named for his unique, character-voiced cooing. One need only to listen to Marblemouth’s intonational vocals to realize that he often sounds like he is singing with marbles in his mouth.

There are those that say, "His voice is kind of odd..." But to this we simply reply, "Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Richard Butler of The Psychedelic Furs, The Blue Nile, etc...

The voice of Marblemouth is not for the majority. Instead, Marblemouth’s gifts are best cherished by those seeking something sans-mainstream or - Ultra-Mel.

Headquartered in Boston, MA, Marblemouth (the band) consists of one key figure, Robert Harrison Dresing, who writes every note and orchestrates every rhythmic measure.

Occasionally working with a select group of unidentified studio musicians, Dresing may take years to release material from the shadows of his secret studio. As his new music becomes available, inevitably seeing the light of day - it continues to draw smiles upon the craving faces of his endearing fans.

Ok, so maybe I'm just slightly biased, but everything Rob wrote and played has always impressed me beyond belief. He put his heart and soul in his music, as anyone who knew him will readily recognize. Huge thanks to Wyatt for making this CD possible.
