Ferry Is BACK !!!!!,

Wow. Wow. WOW !!!!! I do not know where I can begin on reviewing this new mix from Ferry Corsten. Unlike his last mix, Passport To The United States, this mix is just off the charts! Ferry seems to have rekindled the magic that made him one of the more underrated DJ's in IMO. Not since The Passport To The Netherlands has he been this good. And the track selection is also top notch.
This double CD's contains no filler tracks and the mixing is top notch. I've already played the set twice and I cant help liking it even more. In some of his past mixes, there would be a track here or there that I would skip after awhile, but this set has no such drawbacks. I'd have to say that this mix is as good as Anjunabeats 5 and The Thrillseekers Nightmusic Vol. 2. It's that good folks and I think you will not be let down by it. Here is the track listing Disc 1 1. Thomas Penton & John C - Sinners Kitchen 2. Street Punk - White Russian 3. P.A.F.F. - From King To Finch 4. Rafael Frost - Minimum 5. Lemon & Einar K - Hold Me Know ( great track :) ) 6. Leon Boller - Ocean Drive Boulevard 7. Markus Schultz feat. Departure - Cause You Know 8. Black Pearl - Coral Sea 9. Maor Levi - Shapes 10. Ferry Corsten - Into The Dark 11. Platform 9 - Blastaway 12. Breakfast - The Horizon Disc 2 1. Andre Visior & Kay Stone - Something For Your Mind 2. Seth Hutton - Dont Look Behind You 3. Randy Boyer & Eric Tadla - Alive 4. Lemon & Einar K - Anticipation 5. Ferry Corsten - I Love You 6. Solarstone - Rain Star Eternal 7. Embrace - Embrace 8. Shadowrider - Blue Horizon 9. Alan M - Famicom 10. Andrelli & Blue - Imagine 11. Orjan Nilsen - Black Mamba 12. Dimitri Federov - Falling Of Stars Again, Enjoy !!!

I must say, i own a lot of ferry corsten cds, and this one by far is the best next to his L.E.F., and Twice in a blue moon. Ferry was really bringing his A game on this one. I love it, please if you like Hi-NRG trance this one is for you. Very beautiful beats and melodies.

I am new to this type of musical genre, but when I first listened to Twice in a Blue Moon I knew I had to have more Ferry Corsten. Based on other reviews I went ahead and ordered this CD, and I was not disappointed. His mixes are like no other, and I enjoy them all. They are particularly good for working out to: I am a power walker and it is hard to find music to work out to, let alone be enjoyable at the same time.

I must say that this is one of my favorite Ferry Corsten compilation ever. There's not one single track that does not belong to the album. Ferry needs to continue with works like these and hopefully he'll take over as DJ Mag #1 DJ in the world. Listen to ESCAPE if you must Escape the stresses in life.

This is one awesome set! I never even bothered to purchase the United States "Passport" due to its reviews, but this set I'm glad I took a chance on because it is amazing! A great mix of Electro-Trance, Trance, Progressive. All tracks are solid on these two cds and this is definitely one of the best mix-comps out in 2008!
Something I thought was funny was that this is the second set this year to have a Solarstone track and an Embrace track back to back. This time though the Solarstone track is "Rain Stars Eternal," and not "4ever" (the other comp was The Thrillseekers "Nightmusic, Vol. 3.") Interestingly also is that both "Nightmusic 3" and "Gatecrasher" are two of the best mix-sets to come out in 2008. You guys gotta pick this one up if you haven't already. Excellent job Ferry!! Also check out: George Acosta, Christopher Lawrence, Solarstone, DJ Micro

Awesome Trance!,

As usual, the first CD is different theme than the second CD.
So the first CD is awesome in a way that it is a collection of eclectic more or less medium speed trance techno. However, the second CD is where the speed comes in. On man, you should keep your seat belt on! Enough said. Just enjoy what Ferry drives for ya. |
