This review is from: Gates of Freedom - A Passover Haggadah (Paperback)
This is helpful in understanding the actions, significance of the passover meal, but falls short of helping a non Jew to give it much of a spiritual, more universal meaning. Detailed enough to help someone perform or follow the ritual, but a little too much detail to allow for discovering a deeper understanding. i did not mean to rate it with 5 stars - 3-4 would be more appropriate - but I can't figure out how to change that.

This is a great progressive Hagaddah I'd recommend to anyone who's like a few Ghandi or Abraham Lincoln quotes thrown in to their seder service.

Gates of Freedom - A Passover HaggadahI bought this book for each of 2 friends, non-Jews, who attended their first Seder and wanted to learn more. Both were thrilled to have a book which answered their questions, gave them additional information and explained all is easy to read and understand language. Not too scholarly, but completely thorough.
