Did not have any bad problems like last person, he must have had a bad hard drive. Came with media center edition, for what your paying id say you get your moneys worth. Came with 512 MB of ram, gonna get 2 gigs in addition to what i have, add up to 4 gigs of ram.

This computer hasn't worked right from the beginning. When it worked, it was great, and for that reason, I give it a 2. I've restored the system three times and now gateway tells me I need a new hard drive, and that I should have it in two business days. I ordered it over a week ago, and it's still not here. I called gateway to complain, and nothing but a run-around. After more than two hours of phone time, they finally confirmed that it was in stock, but couldn't commit to send it to me overnight. So it "should" show up next week.

Tech support has been very polite and friendly, but couldn't provide me with the information I needed, gave me conflicting reports and finally couldn't meet a reasonable request that they send the item via overnight delivery.

I understand that defects make it out of the factory. But Gateway failed to step up and make an unsatisfied customer happy. I won't buy gateway again.

HI NOW I DONT HAVE THIS GATEWAY SYSTEM BUT I HAVE HAD THE GATEWAY 566GE I LOVE IT SEE I KNOW A LOT ABOUT COMPUTERS I FIX AND BUIT THEM SO I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO KEEP FORMATING THE HARD DRIVE THE HARD DRIVE IT SELF IS A VER VER VER POWERFUL AND FUGERL THING SEE IF YOU JUST KEEP FORMATING THE HARD DRIVE IT WELL DELETE OR CLEAR IT SELF IN PEOPLE WORDS IT WILL JUST DIE ON YOU ONE TIME IS FIND BUT NOW ALL THE TIME TURST ME I KNOW ALL TO WELL SO KEEP THAT IN MIND AND ABOUT GATEWAY I LOVE MY DID I VER HAVE TO CALL CUSTOMER SEVER IM NOT GOING TO LIE TO YOU YES I DID AND THEY WELL SO NICE TO NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE DOING TO OR WITH YOUR NEW GATEWAY COMPUTERS BUT REMBER THIS IT IS A COMPUTER AND YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THINGS TO IT THEN IT WILL MISS UP ON YOU BUT WITH GATWAY I THINK THERE THE BEST SO GET A GATEWAY AND SEE WHAT IT CAN DO FOR YOU.
