This is my favorite of Jan Berlin's guided imagery programs. It works wonderfully for those of us who are already comfortable with meditation and creative visualization techniques while maintaining a gentle guidance that's easy to follow for beginners as well. The imagery itself also has more depth and spiritual elements than in his previous works, and I find myself easily transported into my own visual excursions once I'm jump-started by the program. It's a great way to get in touch with the inner self when you're having trouble getting there on your own or just can't be bothered to make the extra exertion. My family, though not particularly into meditation, enjoys it as a simple tool for relaxation and rejuvenation. I did find Lisbeth Scott's vocals in the introduction of this one a bit overpowering, but fortunately they're soft and pleasant during the journey.

I really love this CD. One of my favorites. I am quite familiar with this work and it is a very useful tool. The music and gentle guidance of Dr Berlin gets you into a comfortable space of exploration. Even with no experience in meditation or imagery, you will be able to fall right into your quest. THis guided visualization really helped me to center in on what i needed to deal with within myself. It truly was a transformational experience and continues to be as i keep working with it.

I found Gateway of the Heart to be a great guide to journey through the depths of heart and mind. With Lisbeth Scott's beautiful voice ushering you into the journey and Dr. Berlin's expertise in guided imagery--it's a perfect combination. This is a wonderful cd for your mind, body and spirit.
