The Profile 4X CPU, integrated with the computer’s built-in hinged flat-panel display, features a matte black finish with silver accents. A 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor--with 512 KB of L2 advanced transfer cache and 256 MB of DDR SDRAM, upgradable to 1 GB--provides a profusion of computing power for smoothly running multiple productivity and multimedia applications simultaneously. An 80 GB hard drive offers vast storage capacity for data, application, and multimedia files.

The Profile 4X’s 17-inch display, coupled with a 32 MB nVidia GeForce2 MX400 graphics processor with VGA-out interface, delivers large, bright, sharp images. The computer includes built-in stereo speakers and headphone/speaker, line-in, and microphone jacks. The Profile 4X features a CD-RW drive (24x/16x/10x) that makes it easy to listen to and create audio CDs and play CD-ROM-based games.
