The Gateway Wireless-G PCI Card can be installed into most desktops so you can put your computer just about anywhere in your home or office, without the costs and hassle of running network cables. Once you're connected, you stay in touch with access to your email, the Internet and instant messaging. It also lets you share files, printers and network storage with other computers on the network. The Wireless-G PCI Card connects you with Wireless-G networks at up to an incredible 54mbps speed. And for added versatility, Gateway Wireless-G devices are also backwards compatible with existing 11Mbps Wireless-B equipment. Since both standards are built in, you can protect your investment in existing Wireless-B infrastructure, and migrate to the fast new Wireless-G standard as your needs grow. Every Gateway wireless product includes easy-to-use software and instructions so your equipment is set up in a snap! Gateway Wireless networks are designed to work with the Gateway® Media Center PCs, desktops, notebooks, Tablet PCs and the Connected DVD. All Gateway Wireless-G products may also be used with other manufacturer’s networking products intended to work with the Wireless-G & Wireless-B general networking standard.
