Beautiful melodies and interesting rhythms. A nice mix of unusual instruments used! Looking forward to the next CD from the talented artists. A MUST buy for all music lovers who like the music of Jack Johnson and Paul Simon!

A marvelous debut album from these Northern VA singer-songwriters, who have been performing live this past year, including as an opening act for Lucinda Williams at the Acoustic Music Festival. A Martinez & Guthrie song is also featured in the movie Solitary Man (to be released in 2010), starring Michael Douglas, Susan Sarandon, Danny Devito, and Mary-Louise Parker.

I have just heard this song (Home) on Sirius coffee house and love it. The melody is so mesmerizing and it stays with you all day. If you like Jack Johnson, you'll love this too. I can't believe that it was released in 2006 and it is now just being played. I love it, can't find it in stores - only online.
