4.0 out of 5 stars The not so bad end of a great saga, December 16, 2008
This review is from: Gathering Of Shadows,A (Point Fantasy) (Paperback)
Well, this book means the final (?) end od the books, and we finally know what the secret of the book was. However, the worst thing is that the end happens very quickly (too much!!!), so I got rather dissapointed with it: the second and third books are aobut how the army went to Vaynor in order to fight what was supposed to be a great war... actually, a 3 pages one. And the final battle between Dalveen and Avoch Dar is even worse -inexistent, actually. Anyway, I liked very much how the story's explained: easy written, with naïf stuff and a few surprises. I highly recomend it for all those who, like me, have spent almost 10 years searching in it some countries where it wasn't published; anyway, it's always good to read the end of a saga, isn't it? I bought it very cheap, in addition, so it all was perfect. Except, of course, the very last few pages of the story -where you in a hurry, Stan?!?!?!?!?
