I am what you could call a dodgeball afficionado. I began playing as a child along with everyone else, but for me something just clicked. Floor hockey,rope climbing, gymnastics -yes, they all had their merits. But none of them ever came close to what I call the sport of kings.

Did you know that the Ancient Babylonians played a game similar to dodgeball, but used the internal organs of cows instead of Gator Skin Dodgeballs, 6"?

I've been involved with League Dodgeball since grammar school (I'm 29 now)and of course have played with all brands of dodgeballs -- once I even played a rousing game with duckpin bowling balls, though I don't particularly recommend that for everyone. At any rate, Gator Skin Dodgeballs, 6" rise to the very cream of the crop in all regards -- they resound with a satisfying "whump" when they hit an opponent, they leave welts that remind of why you love the game without deterring you from playing it again, and they fly though the air with a delightful "whizz."

Recommeded for all ages. And I'll see you in the gym!

Why my nephew wanted a black dodge ball no one knows...but he loves it, it seems sturdy, came quickly and was just what he was expecting. I thought it would be bigger but my nephew said it's the right size.

just what my kids wanted for Christmas. The Gator skin dodge ball is perfect for elementary aged kids. Soft and small. We bought 2 and have fun playing dodge ball in the backyard with my 8 and 10 year olds

I have used many different types of dodge balls and the Gator Skin dodge ball is the most disappointing product I have used. The weight of the ball is too light which often affects the accuracy of the throw. If playing outdoors, then any slight wind will carry the ball and affect the trajectory of the throw. I strongly prefer the Voit and Gopher Low Density Foam dodge balls to the Gator Skin dodge balls (Gopher being the most accurate and the best- in my humble opinion).6" Gator Skin DodgeballGator Skin Super 70 Ball (Set of 6)8" Gator Skin Special Foam Balls (Set of 6)

Very good product. Very robust with rough use. Greatly out lasts other brands.

Too small, and hard to catch. Material is perfect, but since it is hard to catch it does not make for a fun game.
