Bought for sons trumpet. Case is well made, sturdy, after a month of school still looks brand new. Very happy with this case. I would purchase again, as well as recommend to a friend.

I got this case because it was inexpensive and the reviews were good. It is a good case its just too small inside where you need room for a couple of things the student trupetier carries with his trumpet such as a comic book sized music book, slide grease and valve oil.

Hi, I purchased from the seller "STREAMLINE DISTRIBUTING LLC," shipped and fulfilled by Amazon. Paid $55 at that time and was very happy. Can probably find cheaper now that the school year is well underway. Received it in only a couple days. Needed it quick for my 9 year old son's beginning band. His old trumpet fit perfect, plenty of protection. Better than those soft/hard shell cases with zippers that could eventually break. He tried those out in the music stores and this one was by far the easiest for him to handle, open, close, carry, etc.. Plus it's similar to the cases all the other kids had, and probably better. Very light, but very strong. Strong hinges, closes tightly and lines up perfectly with each close. He works these locks with ease and they never popped open. They do come with keys, so later down the road if he needs to travel and case gets knocked around or dropped with other equipment, it won't pop open unexpectedly during travel. Ours came with one mouthpiece holder built into the case, almost didn't buy because I didn't see it in the photo. I was also surprised to see a carry strap came inside, as description didn't mention. He hasn't used the strap yet, but when he gets older and for possible travel, I'm sure he will. Case has the rings built in for strap. There is room for storage and we do put a folder and book inside by tucking one end in the storage opening and slowly closing the case. Curls it slightly, but fine when taken back out. The storage opening doesn't close off and is not big, but fits the basics. Small things like the oil can get tucked in the corners pretty good. Cloth or foam can get tucked in to prevent stuff from moving around if that's a problem. It isn't for us. My son absolutely loves his case! It still looks brand new after 4 months. Not too big, easy for him to carry with the handle. Just perfect!
