This is a really good quality, lightweight case - a vast improvement over my old hard chipboard case that was heavier than my guitar by magnitudes. The balance is excellent when carrying it by the handle, and the backpack straps are incredibly useful. Despite being sized for dreadnought guitars, it fits my jumbo 6-string perfectly.

However, I gave it 3 stars because despite its claim that it works with 6- or 12-string guitars, it just doesn't fit my 12-string. I had hoped to use the case with both guitars, but the space allotted to the head of the guitar is too short by a few inches and the listed measurements do not address this. It is possible that the guitar is just a non-standard size, and so it might work with your guitar, but I'd be cautious if you're buying this for a 12-string.

It's lightweight like it was said and I like that. It is tight but it fits my Yamaha FG700S guitar which is a full size (I think) one. So I tend to agree with the other reviewer that it might not fit a 12-string guitar. I prefer it to be a little bit larger. Also, I gave it 4 stars just because when I try to zip up the case, the lining material tend to get into the zipper. Overall it is a good product. I'm happy with my purchase.

I don't want to rehash what others have already commented on. Simply put-- the case is top notch quality and does it's job well. The zipper needs to be broken in so go easy at first. Most importantly---- IT DOES FIT 12 STRING GUITARS!!!!!

I have two 12 string guitars ( one is a Hohner & one i bought thru Amazon - an Oscar Schmidt). They both fit fine. A little snug - true. I figured out the best way to put in or take out either a 6 or 12 string. Point the headstock in it's storage space first and the rest of the guitar follows easier. For removing the guitar, just the opposite.... pick up the guitar by the body (butt end) first and everything else follows smoothly!!

Let me know if this helps any of you out there.

I bought both the 6 string and 12 string version of this case at the same time. The overall design and workmanship of these cases is great. The 6 string case is replacing an old chipboard case I've been using for 20+ years... this case is way better in every sense. I'm sure it's the last case I will ever buy for that guitar.

Compared side-by-side, the 12 string version of the case is only *slightly* longer than the 6 string version. On the inside, you can clearly see the 12-string version allows for a larger headstock, but the overall length just isn't much longer than the 6 string version.

I can tell you for sure that my Epiphone FT-160 Texan 12 did not fit. It was about an inch short. The headstock area inside the case wasn't the issue - it was the overall length that didn't allow it to fit.

Another note about the case... it's actually a rigid case. For some reason I thought it was a nicely padded, but fold-up-able(?) gig bag. This is actually more like a hard case with a soft outside. It has backpack straps, which is nice, but it definitely not a case you can fold up and stow away when not in use.

This case is really good quality. It's a lot heavier than my gig bag, obviously, but the hard shell protects it a lot better. The interior lining is really soft and good quality. My Ventura VWD3SAT fits right inside-not perfectly, but comfortably. The only thing I don't really like is the lining gets caught in the zipper, but the more I use it the easier it goes and I don't think it's enough to get stuck. The shoulder straps are really convenient and the hooks swivel so if the straps get twisted, it's easy to straighten them out. My brother has a hard Gator case like this for his banjo and after a year plus of heavy use (it's been on several road trips) it's in good condition and is working just fine. If this one ever wears out, I would buy another one just like it!

All my dreadnought guitars slosh around in this. They're all standard Martin & Gibson dread's. I bought it for easy portability and to use like a backpack at a festival. There's no handle near the top, which makes getting this case up your shoulders a major hassle and makes you look kinda weird. Once it's on it's rides very low. Not nearly as good of a design as some other gig bags. Otherwise it's built well. Supposed to fit 6 and 12 string guitars, but I see a lot of people not getting their 12 strings to fit. I feel like I paid a lot of money for something I'm not completely happy with. I don't know, it's OK I guess. But I might return this and get something better.
