Keeps the hands clean!,

This review is from: GatorSkin 23024 Gator Skin Nitrile Glove - Large (100 per bx) (Misc.)
I bought these to use in the mechanical shop at my ranch. Lots of grease, oil, etc when servicing tractors, etc. These work real well to keep the hands clean and they are as durable as one would expect - much more durable than the standard latex glove.I have not had any issues with tearing or leakage through the gloves. Gripping small screws, etc is not a probelm and what you would expect, not as perfect as your bare hands, but better than thick gloves. Fit is good for the average size hand.

I found these nitrile gloves to be quite good. 100 gloves for under $15 is GREAT. They hold up well under normal use and protect your hands form harmful chemicals. If your using caustic or really aggressive chemicals you need to pay the money and get different gloves. For most duties involving oil, grease, fuel, paints, etc...these gloves do a really good job and hold up well. Yes at time you may need to change them out because they do break down with extended time in oils and solvents. Big deal, their inexpensive, put a new pair on and carry on! The note someone wrote about everyone other one breaking when putting on...I did not find that to be the case.

REALLY ROTTEN GLOVES,
This review is from: GatorSkin 23024 Gator Skin Nitrile Glove - Large (100 per bx) (Misc.)
This product is undoubtedly the WORST product ever received. The first three gloves tore when putting them on, the next got on by putting powder inside, but tore upon removal. Looking at the next one before even trying to put it on holes were obvious between the fingers. As these gloves are obviously rotten how are they supposed to protect my hands from anything? I don't suppose I can even return them as the box is opened, so will just have to eat the price and look elsewhere for a product that will hopefully give me some relief. 11-20-08

The price is good but expect to go through multiple ones if you're doing a lot of work,

I considered this as an alterative to getting a non disposable set. I'd say it is more useful to have disposable ones than a reusable/washable one. The glove did break on me once when I was trying to take it off. Don't remember exactly, but i must have used about six pairs in the process of changing O2 sensors, taking out rear engine mount and replacing bushings, changing transmission and engine oil, and cleaning up some leaks here and there. I might buy non disposable ones to do electrical work and such so i don't deplete my reserve of disposable ones.

These gloves are horrible. The fingertips tips split open after little use and several have split open on the side. It takes three or four pair to get though most tasks. They fit me properly and I'm using them for light duty work: cleaning guns; painting; sanding; etc. I have half of a box left and I'm going to toss them as soon as I get another brand. Avoid the GatorSkin nitrile gloves, they are a waste of money.

Out of the twenty or so I've used so far, a large portion of them were so compressed that each glove is stuck fast together. Meaning you really have to work just to get them open so you can stick your hand in. It's time consuming and frustrating, to the point where I'm tossing stuck ones instead of using them. Those that do work, work fine; they seem fairly resistant to my pet peeve with these style gloves - the fingertips tearing off. I think if they had just packed them into a larger box, they wouldn't have had this problem and I would've rated them better. But my next box will not be these.

This is the 3rd box of these gloves I've purchased. The quality has tanked!! I used nearly half the box replacing a water pump.I'll bet they make a lot more money, but the product now stinks!!!

This is the second time I have ordered these gloves after using up the first supply. They are tougher and last far longer than latex gloves and are a good way to keep paint, dirt and chemicals off your hands during yard work.

I,ve only used these glove once since my purchase, and they seem to indure a bit better than some of the other name brands. The Con: the size "large" actually fits like a size mediume.

Comparing them side by side, the size large Gator Skin is thicker than the advanced tool design gloves. However, the size large runs a little smaller. I prefer the Gator Skin gloves.
