From Ising To Gauge Fields and Strings,
By A Customer
This review is from: Gauge Fields and Strings (Contemporary Concepts in Physics) (Paperback)
This book manifests the author's unique perspective on physics. The author claims that the profound aspect of quantum gauge fields is that they can almost be regarded as the theory of strings. These strings are in essence the Faraday flux lines. The deeper understanding of quantum physics involving gauge fields demands the study of dynamics of quantum strings. Quantum strings turn out to produce the graviton thus can give a theory of quantum gravity. These are all pioneered by the author for past three decades and neatly explained in this book. |
