Gaviscon Regular Strength Liquid Antacid, Cool Mint Flavor, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) Gaviscon is what my doctor recommended for my acid problems. In liquid form it works faster and better than anything else I have tried. It is pricey but gets the job done, so it is worth it in my opinion. It is better at suppressing acid reflux than anything else I know of.
