5.0 out of 5 stars Original Work in Celebration of Gay History and Pride, October 3, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Gay Century Songbook (Audio CD)
This original collection of songs celebrate the poinient and turbulent story of Gay life in New York and everywhere. There are few people who will not be touched in some way by what this collection has to offer. One need not be gay to identify with the struggle for identity, diversity and love. You only need to be open to the beautifully written music and lyrics of songs such as "Lavender", "That Way" and be particularly fond of "Antiques". The splendor of this story makes me proud of who I am and no matter how small, the tasks I accomplish on earth. Definately Grammy potential.
