Jay's delightful book is fun to read, fun to discuss, and fun to ponder. Well written, astrologially accurate, Gay Love Signs gives an affirming view of relationships, and of the selves within those relationships. Each sign is dealt with in some depth, and every possible combination of signs is readily available, and from both perspectives. This is a fun read, and a thought provoking book. It may even bring "What's your sign?" out of the cliche and back into popular usage.

This book is definitely one of the better ones I've seen (Compare my review of Gay Star Signs by Max Bowman). Devoid of pictures, it gives excellent details for each of the compatible signs, also devoting entire new sections for the same pair reversed (Libra/Aquarius, Aquarius/Libra are separate writings). There's a bit of an emphasis on sex, but that's to be expected for this area of the genre. In the end, Jay focuses on the relationship aspects as the crux of the details, neither sugar-coating nor glossing over 'bad' combinations.

Serious astrologers who want a critical analysis of each combination will find this guide very helpful, which also includes an appendix for calculating your Rising Sign. The book is written easily enough for beginner readers too.

I place this one at the top of best gay astrology books, with Jill Dearman a close second. It's not a gay picture book nor a quick reference guide, but is in-depth enough to deliver an entertaining and insightful read.

I have used this book for years and have found Michael Jay's descriptions of the signs infallible. I love to amaze people by having them read a section about themselves. EVERY time they say "oh my god, that's me!" The descriptions of the signs paired up is also very valuable whether for love or friendship. I can't recommend this book enough!

Jay takes a very complicated subject and gives the reader an analysis that is both easy to understand and enjoyable to journey through. This book is formatted so that the reader may easily find any combination quickly. Jay gives a very well-rounded perspective for each match - not focusing on simply sex, or just homelife, but a brief and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a potential relationship

Its so cliche in the gay idiom to inquire about ones zodiac sign. I can tell you nobody was a bigger skeptic than me. That all changed after I picked up a copy of GAY LOVE SIGNS. Almost 15 years have passed since Michael Jay gave us "GAY LOVE SIGNS " and it remains a relevant piece of work I STILL refer to!

Whether your comtemplating a love relationship , cant figure out WHY someone in your life acts a certain way or your just curious about astrology, GAY LOVE SIGNS will provide some telling insight into what you wanna know.

i received the book looking like the dog had it for breakfast lunch and supper !!!!!

I have to admit that as a gay hip-hop inspired African American, I didn't think that the book would be accruate but when I realized that the rules for straight couples and gay couples are different, the book made more sense to me. Its not the bible for "ALL" relationships, but it will add insite to understanding why people do and think the way that they do. This book has been a great help to me and I thank the author for writing it.

I picked up this book at a friend's house. I thought I would find Queer myth. Instead, I found idiocy. Give me a break! My partner and I have been together for many years and we are not of compatible types. A friend of ours is a Virgo and his partner of 3 years an Aries and they're still together. This is plain silly to me. What am I missing?

I am a Virgo and my partner is a Virgo and we have been with each other for 9 years. My best friend is an Aries and his partner is a Virgo and they have been together for 3 years. Neither match is classically a good match. When I saw this book at a mutal friend's house I had to pick it up. I thought Gee! Cool! A Queer cosmology. I was disappointed to find that it's just predictions based on nothing at all. I'd rather read the Greek Myths.
