Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

Lesbians and gay men face unique challenges in forming and sustaining intimate personal relationships. The pervasive prejudice and hostility they confront and the lack of supportive familial, religious, and social systems pose problems that are radically different from those experienced by heterosexuals. Therapist Tessina offers a genuinely useful self-help guide intended to assist gay people in clarifying the issues and resolving their difficulties in a manner conducive to the creation and sustenance of satisfying personal relationships. Any library with similar titles for its heterosexual patrons should certainly make this one available to its gay public.
