The book is full of great ideas and designs for gazebos and other outdoor structures suitable for the back yard and the cottage. For the novice carpenter it details lumber lists, tools required, definitions, and building techniques combining colour and graphics and photos to get the information across.

Exceptionally well written, obviously by a person or persons who have intimate knowledge of construction techniques. Extremely helpful, with great photos and diagrams. Great glossary. Actually, a great book on carpentry, disguised as a book for Gazebos. If you can buy only one book for encouragement, then this is it.
