The bubble blaster is easy to assemble, but not very durable. Maybe I'm not heavy enough to make the rocket actually blast, but you'd think my 115 lbs. would do the trick. Not so. I've stomped, jumped, etc. and can't get the rocket to "lift off" more than a couple of inches. My 5 year old has no hope of creating bubbles. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I found this toy for, literally, 1/2 the above-listed price. My son LOVES the Stomp Rocket, so I picked it up. We've had a very good experience with it! I read the previous review, and I can certainly understand the issues, but my 35-pound 3 year old has had very good success launching the rocket (over 12-15 feet) when he jumps with 2 feet on the pad. It's loads of fun. It's not nearly as well-constructed as the Stomp Rocket, nor as portable and adjustable. Nevertheless, it's not a bad investment, bearing those caveats in mind. No problems to report here. If you need to choose between the two, then go with the Stomp Rocket, but if you can swing both---even better!

I posted this in a review a while back for one of the Gazillion bubble machines, figured it might be helpful here. These toys are so much fun until you are out of bubble solution. I went looking for refills and couldn't find any - you need Gazillion GOLD bubbles by the way because you are trying to make big bubbles, regular bubble stuff will not work. I could not find a refill anywhere - lots of places sold the bubblator we had, none sold refills. Grrr.So I did some research and experimenting and came up with this replacement. Buy a big container of regular bubble stuff (I got a 100oz Miracle Bubbles) and a 4oz bottle of Glycerin (available in the soap / skin care section of drugs stores - but not all of them (Walgreens did not have it, I found mine in CVS, little plain brown bottle, Dump the entire bottle of glycerin into the Miracle Bubbles. Mix gently (don't shake vigorously). Do this a day or two in advance of using for best results (the glycerin needs to age a little) - however I did use it right away and did pretty well. Voila - 100oz of replacement bubbles for cheap rather than one tiny little bottle. Enjoy! I haven't tested this in this product specifically, but it worked great in the Gazillion Bubblator we own.

My kids love this toy and have a lot of fun with it however it is so cheaply made. It comes apart when ever you stomp on the launch pad.

This is very easy to assemble, but just does not produce the bubbles. My children had to really learn to jump on it with both feet and still can only get it to go up about 5ft. When it does go up, there are only 5 or 6 bubbles each time.
The Rocket also keeps detatching from the bubble wand if they jump too hard - we have taped the two together with some success. The kids love to make the rocket launch even though it only goes up a few feet. For that it is worth a few bucks. But do not buy this for bubble enjoyment! We purchased for $3 in a sale, but would have been disappointed if I had paid more than $10.

Got this at a local store yesterday and I was so excited since my son loves playing with bubbles and his mini rocket launcher, so I thought this would be a perfect fit. I had no trouble assembling the rocket. i made sure the bottom of the rocket got plenty of bubble solution from the tray and I stepped on it to launch the rocket. Only 4 bubbles came out and tagged along with a stream of bubble solution with it. I kept trying and thought I might have too much solution in the tray but no luck. This item should be named Gazillion Bubble SOLUTION Rocket instead. My son did have fun jumping on the launching pad but I had to put him in order to launch the rocket. I would use it plain with no bubble solution and just to launch the rocket. Luckily I got it from a local store at a cheaper price or else it would be a waste of money.

The only thing my little boy requested from Santa was a "Bubble Rocketship". I suppose a creative commercial captured his attention last summer because one could not be found in the stores during the month of December. Since it was the only item he requested, we bit the bullet and spent $25 plus shipping on this plastic piece of junk. One reviewer commented that her child could not get the rocket to launch, and this was the case with my 40lb son also. Even jumping on the pad only sent it 5 feet in the air. At 115llbs, I could get it to launch about 7-8 feet, and that's being generous. The most disappointing thing was when the tube/body detached from base and it would no longer work at all. If you can pick one up for $5 or so, it's worth an hour of fun, otherwise, save your money.

My kids thought that was a lot of fun. Even when we ran out of bubbles, they were stil stomping on the launch pad to shoot up the rocket.
