Excellent packaging. Reasonable assembly. This product works exactly as advertised and designed. The cradle arms are ingenious, allowing cradling for any bike frame configuration. I have storage or workbenches on all sides of my garage; therefore, I needed something to create a mid-room post. The upper plate is screwed into an overhead crossbeam (the lower extension has screw adjustable, durable foot pads). In this setup my only concern is solidity. It is of adequate gage material though not super heavy stuff. (I often have this worry and then a product winds up fine with needed flexibility). There is no way around having to join the two main pieces with a connector (albeit a good joint). Heavier gauge and longer length (without a middle joint) would probably be cost and shipping prohibitive. In conclusion, I'm happy with the result - it works very well.
